A Beautiful Wedding at Hockwold Hall, Norfolk


Amie and Dan's day was such a pleasure to capture. From an outdoor ceremony that the sunshine arrived just in time for, to a very special surprise, the most gorgeous golden light and a dance floor that was something else entirely, their wedding was full of moments to remember.

The weather had us keeping an eye on the skies, but thankfully, the sun made an appearance just in time for Amie and Dan to say their vows outside. There’s something so lovely about an outdoor ceremony, especially when the setting is as beautiful as Hockwold Hall.

There was so much emotion throughout the day, with those little glances, happy tears and moments with the people who mean the most. It was one of those weddings where you could really feel just how special the day was to everyone there.

Amie looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Pure Brides, Norwich. The bridesmaids dresses were really lovely, a perfect colour to suit the time of year.


The sweetest surprise for Dan


A memorable moment of the day was a surprise Amie had planned for Dan. She had arranged for their dogs to come along and join them for the ceremony! It was such a lovely personal touch and made the day even more special. Amy from "Oh Bella wedding day dogs" made this possible and provided a seamless service.


Beautiful details and a delicious cake


The details throughout the day were just as lovely, including a gorgeous cake from the Iced Vegan.

It's always the personal touches that make a wedding feel completely yours, and Amie and Dan's day was full of them. Everything came together to create a celebration that felt warm, personal and full of love.


Golden-hour portraits at Hockwold Hall


As the day went on, we were treated to the most beautiful golden light for Amie and Dan’s couple portraits. That soft, warm evening sunshine is one of my absolute favourite things to photograph. It gives everything such a gorgeous glow and creates the perfect opportunity to take a little breather together away from the busyness of the day.

Despite saying they were very conscientious having their photo taken - Amie and Dan were wonderful to photograph, and we made the most of every bit of that beautiful light. These quieter moments together are such a lovely part of the day - a chance to slow down, spend a few minutes together and take it all in.


And then… that dance floor!


As the night entertainment was revealed - I have to say, this was genuinely one of the coolest dance floors and lighting setups I've ever seen! The atmosphere was incredible, and the lighting completely transformed the space into the most amazing party setting.

After a day filled with emotion, sunshine, beautiful details and special family moments, it was the perfect way to finish. The energy, the lights and everyone coming together to celebrate Amie and Dan made for a brilliant end to the day.


A day full of love, laughter and happy tears
