Ben and Luke's Wedding at Glen lodge, Norfolk
Before the wedding, both Ben and Luke were feeling pretty nervous, but it didn’t take long for those nerves to disappear.
Once the day got underway, they relaxed into it completely, surrounded by their favourite people and able to simply enjoy the day and being together.
The day was relaxed, laid-back and full of genuine moments.
A very special ring bearer
Their much loved dog took on the very important role of ring bearer, making an adorable appearance as part of the ceremony.
It was one of those moments that perfectly summed up the day: personal, relaxed and completely them.
An outdoor ceremony at Glen Lodge
With the Norfolk sunshine making an appearance, Ben and Luke were able to get married outside on the veranda at Glen Lodge.
It was a beautiful setting for the ceremony, with their guests gathered around them and the summer sunshine creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
Afterwards, guests spilled out onto the patio to enjoy the sunshine, drinks and time together. There was no rush - just people chatting, laughing and enjoying being part of Ben and Luke’s day.
Relaxed wedding photography in Norfolk
For me, this was exactly the kind of wedding where the best photographs happen naturally.
I was able to concentrate on capturing the moments just as they happened - the laughter, the hugs, the little interactions between guests and all those fleeting moments that are so easily missed.
There were some beautiful portraits of the two of them, enjoying some peaceful time out on the golf course - away from it all. There was very little need for posing or complicated direction as they were so natural together.
A beautiful day at Glen Lodge, Bawburgh
Good weather, a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, their brilliant four-legged ring bearer and plenty of time to simply enjoy being together made for a wonderfully laid-back celebration, where all the best photos and moments happen.
It was a pleasure to be there and capture it all.
